The Valley Nursery Transport Group

We are a parental run group set up to organise the transport of pre-school children from the 3 valley towns to Galston Nursery. We also support primary school children who do not qualify for the school bus but have childcare provisions outwith walking distance of the school.

Parents contribute financially to the cost of the bus but we rely on donations and funding from other sources to ensure the bus continues to run. If you would like your child to use the bus or would like to make a donation, please contact a committee member, details can be obtained from the Nursery school.

Thanks to all who supported us at the Co-op on Sunday as we raised funds for the Nursery bus. The total has yet to be verified but we hope to have raised approx £500. Thanks to all who volunteered and donated.

Please support us by coming along to our forthcoming Quiz Night in the Masons Arms Lounge on Friday the 30th January 2009 at 8pm. Tickets are £2 including a small buffet.

Thanks to all who supported us at the recent Quiz night, the night was a huge success and we raised a total of £550 for the nursery bus! Thanks also to Jan & Alec in the Masons Arms for donating the prizes for the quiz winners and providing us with a great venue.
