Moses Wallace born Galston 3rd Sept 1849 died 2nd April 1916 Newmilns was a master joiner married to Agnes Haddow Smith lived in Bentinck Street

Andrew Wallace born 29th April 1821 died 29th December 1905 was a Tea merchant lived in Brown Street married to Janet Smith Samuel Wallace born 1785 died 18th May 1865 married to Jean Dalzeil

I am lucky enough to have some pictures which I am happy to share. I have managed to find graves for both Andrew and Moses in Newmilns, but I have been unsuccessful in finding either of the Samuels on my trips. I would appreciate any news or memories that anyone may have.

Memories, Nostalgia & History

History doesn't have to be in black & white

Your memory of a local character or a school photo from the last ten years can be just as interesting as wars and Victorians.
