Over 200 schoolchildren from Galston Primary School enjoyed an exciting visit to the Memorabilia Exhibition today (Thursday). Intrigued by pocket watches, galvanised bath-tubs, ration books, wringers, and much more, the questions came fast and furious! What was that for? You did what? But, did it not hurt? Sweeties were rationed? Did my Granny wear these when she was wee?
Grown-ups came too, and reminiscences were well aired!
Come and join in - something is there for everybody. Open to all - 10am. to 4pm. Friday and Saturday 26 and 27th June in the Hogg Hall - admission free!
