Police hunt after digger stolen from Galston business
8 AugustA major police hunt is under way for theives after a huge digger was stolen from a business in Galston.
And police believe that the 20-tonne may have been stolen to order. The machine, which is worth about £110,000, was stolen from Allseasons in Galston at about 10.10pm on Friday.
Police warned businesses that they may be offered the Volvo digger, which has a distinctive Tasmanian devil motif on a door and two mini versions of the motif on the back.
Officers are checking CCTV footage to try to identify those involved.
